> food safety>BRCGS Understanding the Requirements Agents & Brokers

Introduction

The focus of the standard is on the management of product and suppliers of the services provided by the Agents and Brokers including traceability and transparency through the supply chain. This is supported by the need for a hazard and risk assessment of the operations provided and a supporting quality management system.

Duration

1 Day, 9.30-17.00

Who Should Attend?

BRCGS Food Packaging or Storage and Distribution Auditors wishing to undertake BRCGS audit against the standard and Agents and Brokers who are looking to achieve the standard, as well as Consultants and Approved Training Providers (ATP) who may wish to train this standard and/or help companies to achieve this standard. Companies looking to implement or gain an insight into the standard.

Course Objectives

To understand the scope of the products and the companies to be audited and definitions used in the context of this standard. To give a practical overview of the standard and enable Agents and Brokers companies to be audited and certificated where they buy and sell products or provide services to other parties but are unable to gain certification to the production or Storage and Distribution Standards because there is no product present to be audited. Also to update existing food auditors to the requirements of the standard and allow them to become qualified to audit the Agents and Brokers standard.
